Turnaround services from our central London teleport

Telenor Satellite’s London teleport, located in the heart of central London, provides uplink and downlink services to satellites from 47.5ºEast to 37.5°West. It provides 24-hour operational support and occasional-booking services.

Satellite connectivity

• Occasional use Ku-band uplink and downlinks from 45°East and 37.5°West
• Fixed satellite antennas for permanent services on 1°West, 15°West and 45°East

Terrestrial connectivity

• HD SDI facility lines to BT Tower
• MSNW fibre ring in the Nordic region and the rest of Europe interconnecting to the USA
• 1 Gbps Tier 1 dual-homed internet backbone connectivity
• BGP peering

Broadcast platforms

• Full HDTV downlink and monitoring
• Digital TV encoding, monitoring and multiplexing
• DVBS, DVBS2 and iDirect uplink/downlink and turnaround for occasional use
