Cato Halsaa

CEO and Vice President since 2001
Cato Halsaa joined Telenor in 1999 and has held various senior positions in the Telenor Broadcast group; most notably, Managing Director for Norkring AS from 2000-2001 and Chairman of the Board from March 2001-March 2002. Cato received his MBA from Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg in 1970 and completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School in 1983.

Martin Foss

Chief Financial Officer since April 2006
Martin Foss joined Telenor in 1999 and has been working at Telenor Broadcast since 2001. During his time in Broadcast he has been responsible for various tasks within business development, planning, budgeting and investments. Before joining Telenor, Martin worked as a financial journalist for Finansavisen and received his MBA in Corporate Finance at the Norwegian Business School.

Lars Janols

Chief Commercial Officer since 2006
Lars Janols is head of commercial operations at Telenor Satellite Broadcasting and has been with the company since 1998. Born in Sweden, Lars completed his studies in Sweden and Germany and started his career in the Swedish defence industry. Before joining Telenor Satellite Broadcasting, Lars worked in the German consulting and health industry for over seven years, before moving to Norway.

Robert Wise

Chief Strategy Officer since 2007
Robert Wise joined Telenor Satellite Broadcasting in 2005 as Business Development Director. With over 20 years of experience in the satellite industry, Robert worked on the commercial trial of IPTV services in the UK for Kingston Telecommunications and, before that, was responsible for business strategy at BT Broadcast Services.

Kjell Aksberg

Chief Technology Officer since 2011
Kjell Aksberg joined Telenor in 1979 and has been with Telenor Satellite Broadcasting from 1991. Before joining Telenor Satellite Broadcasting, Kjell worked in mobile and terrestrial broadcasting units within the Telenor Group. Kjell has held various senior technical positions within Telenor Satellite Broadcasting AS and has over 20 years of experience in the satellite industry.

Peter Olsen

Director of Satellite Capacity since 2011
Peter Olsen joined Telenor in 1998 and has held various positions within TSBc, most recently as THOR 6 satellite program manager. Peter received his M.Sc. Electrical Engineering from NTNU in 1994 and Master of Space Systems Engineering from TU Delft School of Executive Education in 2001. Peter has broad international experience both academic and professional.

Torstein Solberg

Director of QA/OHS since 2011
Torstein Solberg joined Telenor in 1972, in maritime communications before working in the satellite area in 1985. He helped manage the Nittedal and Eik earth station expansions and was also involved in the delivery of satellite services during the 1994 Winter Olympic Games in Lillehammer. From the mid-1990s, Torstein helped establish Telenor as a European satellite-networks supplier, becoming Operations Director of Telenor Satellite Services (later renamed TSBc).

Anne Karin Mosaker

Director of Human Resources since 2008
Anne Karin Mosaker joined TSBc in 2008 and is also Acting Chief HR Officer for Telenor Broadcast Holdings.  Anne Karin’s previous experience includes HR Manager at Telenor Broadcast Holding and Head of personnel services at Sunnaas sykehus HF.  Anne Karin received her Master of Value Based Leadership in 2008 and completed CTI coach education and certification in 2010.
